I'd recommend not touching anything earlier than XL-75R. Well, 'cept for Link's Nightmare, since some people seemed to really like that one for whatever reason(s).

Or... you could take Bloodstar's suggestions, I guess. Probably a better idea to do so, since I practically loathe all of my work to some extent.

The earlier works really aren't that bad. There are some areas that may drive me insane like the high level enemy usage and the bullet hell usage, but the only thing that really bothered me at all was that the Dungeons were linear. Quest itself is still pretty good.

Also, Squash: There are 2.5 betas with scripting and other crap, now. Honestly, though, I'm avoiding all that once I actually start a project in it. I'm still doing LTTS in 1.92b184

I was addicted to shooting statues and octos on crack in the past. And by past, I mean eight years, nearly nine. I stopped using ZC seriously or so about four years ago. :x

Not really. MTPP's completed areas included the space station, half of chonedez, half of chozovo, almost all of cavadia, varimath, only a portion of tadria, all of agrithor, half of ignithus... hrm. Aside from finishing the aforementioned areas, there was still phyrigidis, metroid mines, and the final space station. Plus, tons of bosses still had to be done; Reworking the agrithor boss, magmaligator, some other metroid for the mines, reworked cavadia boss (that I recall I had already amde the sprites for), SA-P in varimath, some sand creature in tadria, a mutant tree in chozovo, some other boss for phrygidis, SA-P again, then the final. Plus, more secret levels. I was also in the process of changing the graphical perspective.

tl;dr: Far from finished. Won't ever be.

I was kinda confused about the perspective change too. MZM graphics worked just fine.

Though, now I have to wonder... do you still have the new quest somewhere? I kinda remember said new mountains, and MIGHT want to use them.

I used to use it mostly back in high school...when it was around v1.9. Playing the hell out of the DEMO quest that was on it was one thing that both my friend and I enjoyed the shit out of...though he was better at the problem solving than my 'giving up ass' ever was and I believe he eventually beat it.

If I didn't have a bunch of other things that would jump out for priority...I'd probably pick this back up. Not a bad -free- thing at all but I'm not really big on Zelda that much...outside of LttP and LA. Even with custom quests.

The newest versions are creeping ever closer to those two games, Hiryuu.

I still use 1.90 myself, on occasion. Fun to see what boundaries I can break next.

I play mostly 2.10, sometimes going down as low as 1.90 and as high as 2.5b. I tend to play a lot with LttP-like graphics.

I wanted to change the perspective and make MTPP stand out from MXLR. And personally, I loved how the new perspective was coming along.
