I got mine used when I used to work at Gamestop. I made sure that it worked and that it was fully backwards. They usually run around $400 - $600, depending on the size of the harddrive and if it's backwards or not. Best bet is to try to get one online if you're really looking. ____________________

I don't care if it can't do PS2 games, personally - I have a PS2 already, and I can just start that up if I want to play a game on it...

I bought one a year ago for 300 bucks off eBay. 40GB PS3. Pulled the drive and dropped a 100GB in it, then proceeded to take my old external 160GB, reformat it to FAT32 and then use it as another hard drive (which you can do in the PS3, but it's limited).

Now that I have a 32" 1080p, I should consider putting YDL on it finally and start tearing it up with some emulation.

I've decided, I'm picking up a PS3 before I get a 360 if I don't have enough for both.

My friends all have 360s, so if i want to play one I can mooch off them. :V

Keep in mind that there are alternative PS3s out there than just your standard op. There are ones that come pre-loaded with versions of Linux that you may consider for yourself if you're heavy on emulation and want to get the most out of 720 or 1080p.

I'm actually getting YDL 6.1 right now for that, in that regard. Since I finally have a 1080p outlet...I wanna see what I can get out of this bad boy. Doesn't help that I also got a scrap 120GB hard drive from the office that I'm gonna replace over the 100 I have (small upgrade, I know, but it's better than nothing).

The main thing I am waiting on right now is trophies for Disgaea 3. Due to financial situations, I don't have any of the DLC as of yet. If anyone has any DLC for Disgaea 3, what would you recommend me buying first?

And I guess if you want to see my collection of games. Here you go. My trophy status isn't quite up to date due to Comet Crash taking forever to upload on Playfire's database.

Also, only thing I have to do in LBP is make a good level with effort, and have people play it. I already have a couple of ideas and I have a ton of sandbox levels in which I have made some silly items (Even a randomizer). So that would be platinum trophy number two for me.

Just awaiting Disgaea 3 trophies. God I want them to come to America.

Ah yes those...yea don't expect that stateside until the rest of the content makes it over. Only now are we getting Gordon, Jennifer and Thursday (and of those, Thursday wins hands down).

The three I've picked up on for characters I use on an often basis is Adell, Yukimaru and I will be working on Thursday from the DLC. I worked on Marjoly a bit...but I just don't have the patience for upping magic attacks. She's well worth it if you go that route though.

I'm waiting to see some Reyva/Gig action...that should be coming up. Not to mention there's Baal way down the line...

Baal really isn't that hard. Then of course I raised the levels of monsters like 3 times when I fought him. Maxing that out and fighting him is another story.

But when trophies come out. I plan on starting over anyways.

Also, Thursday is one hip character. I knew someone was going to suggest that to me. Is ~~Jessica~~ Jennifer any good? I know Gordon on the PSP version I never used him that much.

You meant Jennifer, right? Jennifer lacks any good 3x3s, same for Gordon. So if you're going to power level her, you're going to need Omega Fire+8 and a magical monster weapon that's worth your time. Both Jennifer and Gordon are treated as monsters (you heard me) in this game so you're really limited with either of them.

I will say that their attacks, all three of them, are absolutely hilarious.

Baal is in DLC, actually, as a playable character. That's what I meant. The only Baal I haven't beaten yet is the one in LoC and I've got only about 1/3 of his ATK stat and about 3/4 of his DEF stat right now.

I'm definitely not getting that trophy for 10 billion damage just yet, at least. I can do maybe 200M with Dark X Slash+9 with Mao and that's about it.

I'm more surprised that Europe picked it up over the US first. It's rare enough for it to happen at all, much less for a game of this genre...

And the PS3 being region-free makes it to where an English release is easily accessible and eBay-able if it doesn't make it state-side.
