Link to some info.

I even created a JP account myself just to check the store. Yet again, another Japan only PS1 game...

And there goes the price of the US version when it becomes English. That one doesn't have English, does it?

I would be incredibly surprised if anyone who wanted to play FF7 hadn't played it yet...

But I somehow don't see it being popular on the PSP side of things...

Ah dunno...Crisis Core did really well on the PSP...and I think it's safe to say that this game WILL get a lot of revenue coming at it.

Also keep in mind that this game is 12 years old...that's about 2/3 the way to a new generation of people and we're looking at a game that's hard to get your hands on for a decent price anymore.

Oh, I have no doubt that it'll sell like hotcakes overall, just that 30 minute unskippable dialogue sections you can't save during is likely to be hell if you wanted to play it on the move.

The game is hideously overpopular anyhow. Popular is...relative.

Game or series or everything complete about it? They're all over the top...but I would say it's rightfully so. It'll turn off many because of its status as over-hyped but it did earn it for what it was back in the day.

Compared to the rest of the series, really. It has really nothing that makes it deserve the "Crown Jewel" status of the FF games.

I'd agree but it's irrelevant to say that even if that's true because of what Square's done to the series to milk every facet of it. It's become said 'Crown Jewel' by force when it should've just been left alone.

I will say Crisis Core was worth it for the back story.

You're making me want to play the original Front Mission again - now that was a GOOD Square game.

Hey now...they JUST re-released that on one of the online consoles, if I remember. Wanna say VC.

The PSP does have sleep mode, you realize. Valkyrie Profile has a one hour start-to-save time at the beginning... and it's another Square game, even.

As for this: duhhhh final fantasy seven blubfbhbfgbfgbhgblfgh HERE SQUARE TAKE MY MONEY.

Why release new games when you can release the same 2895th FF7-related bullshit game?

I didn't actually, I've never used a PSP for more than a few minutes.

Still. ONE HOUR?

Yeah, man. Why else would anyone play a Square game?

I know my brother used cheat codes to make his characters invincible so he could just get to the cutscenes.

As for FFVII, ahahaha I can't even play it anymore. The dialogue is way too cheesy for me to take seriously anymore.

Because far too many people have obsessive-compulsive tendencies and love grinding? (See: MMOs)

That's just lacking skill. I beat all of it without cheating and there's the Sunken Gelnika that you can go into to get your characters up in terms of stats, regardless of level. I had Cloud doing straight 9s with the initial equip, Buster Sword, in Omnislash.

By the way...Valkyrie Profile is an Enix/Tri-Ace game...Square just owns the rights to it now because of buying Enix out.

Eh, unless you purposely go out of your way and cripple yourself FF7 is a pretty damn easy game to finish.

Um... that wasn't lacking skill. He really just wanted to watch the cutscenes.
Just like why he did that for Xenosaga and Kingdom Hearts until he grew bored of the latter.

And VII wasn't hard. I overpowered my characters on it really.

I don't dig cheat utils though, that's the thing. :\ I automatically say 'lack of skill' if you use one unless it's necessary for some strange purpose or if you're really bored.

Square went back over it and redid all the cutscenes to be in HOLY SHIT SEE GEE GRAFIX.
