Okay, so, up until recently, Photoshop has been working fine for me, however, one day all the keyboard shortcuts using the control key, and nudging, stopped working. Completely. The program still reads the control key, but the shortcuts using it aren't working. most other shortcuts still work, but this essentially cripples me in the program, as I now lack copy and paste shortcuts. It's only in Photoshop too.

I figured an uninstall and reinstall would work, and it didn't.

Any ideas?

Edit>Keyboard shortcuts. Make sure it's set to Photoshop defaults. Are you using CS3?

It is set to defaults, and they all appear to be correct.

I'm using CS1.

Well, can't say that wasn't expected. Still a bit odd. find everything Adobe related and blast it from you hdd. If that doesn't work, reformat. Kidding, of course. But make sure when you uninstall Photoshop that all the config files for it are getting deleted as well.

If this just all of the sudden started happening without you making any changes to your settings in Photoshop, it's most likely something outside of Photoshop. Another program is probably interfering with your keyboard shortcuts. You should try shutting down any programs you installed or started using around when started having this problem.

If that doesn't work, try shutting down all noncritical programs, and start Photoshop, if the shortcuts work, start everything up one at a time until you find the culprit.

Also make sure everything is unchecked under the keyboard tab in accessibility options.

I'd look up where it stores config like this and make sure something isn't horribly wrong with those files.
