When a video game takes over your life like that you must have serious problems. But still, why couldn't he take her to some rehabilitation program or something?

Pretty crazy, although I wonder how much the video games played into it. It's played up because its more bizarre, but I suspect it has more to do with the affair thing.

Yeah, I mean it's entirely video gaming's fault. Entirely, no other factors whatsoever.
