Yeah, this sparked a debate at my house, and I thought it'd make a good poll.

Depends if I say Legos or Lego Blocks.

I figured this was an ACMLM thread again.

Definitely "legos"... I suppose the Lego Company would probably prefer "LEGO brand building blocks" or some such, but I don't care that much...

Seeing as outside the internet I mainly speak Spanish, and my dialect actually mutes the S sound at the end of a syllable (and Spanish relies on an ending S to mark plural), I guess I say "Lego"

When speaking in English I say "Legos", though...

I usually say Lego even if I'm referring to more than one block.

If I want specific blocks I refer to them by name

"Red 4x2 blocks"

Legos. I didn't know anyone even said it differently.

This thread prompted my to look up Legos on Wikipedia. I happened across this. Definitely one of the silliest things I've seen in a while.

Oh my God I think I always say "that piece over there" when I refer to a specific one.

Yeah, didn't see that coming..
I say Lego as the plural, no real reason behind it.

I use Legos for the plural of Lego and refer to individual bricks as either pieces or just Legos.

I still have a book case with three shelves full of my lego creations. ;

I was ~so~ tempted to buy a Lego Star Wars ship about a week ago. But I can't remember if it was from the Force Unleashed or the Millennium Falcon. And I would have died if they had the Ebon Hawk....and now I want all three. Once things get back to normal with money and I have the space to put it, I just might.

Every of us has a ⑨ inside.
----------------------------
Refering a block: "That thing"
Refering the company/type of blocks: Lego

There's no singular... Or plural, or whatever.

Though I do say stuff like "Bionicles"... Which reminds me, do not leave a franchise for about five years and check it back later unless you want to find out crazy things like that the god they worshipped was the island they were all in which was THE FACE OF A GIANT ROBOT.

Legos.

I've never really had the chance to play with Legos at all. Or eat Eggos ...

I usually say "Legos" even though it's grammatically incorrect.

Legos.

Even if Lego is correct it just sounds really bad. ("OK, little Johnny wants 3 buckets of Lego for Christmas...")
