	I'm pretty sure that most of the people at my campus would die if they had to turn their computers off for an hour XD. Also: with a lot of appliances, turning it off for an hour and then turning it back on can use more electricity than just leaving it alone. Refrigerators and air conditioners are the most likely to do that kind of thing. ____________________

	So is this supposed to be just some sort of statement or it expected to actually make some dent in world power consumption (and thereby greenhouse gas output)? If it's the lather, that's just silly, and if its the former I think if you care about the environment than a better statement would be setting an example of responsible energy use every hour of every other day of the year.

	I got the figures back on some of this. Absolutely zilch change...and the places where it showed a little change showed more CO2 releases into the atmosphere because of the massive light-up slash power surge when 9:30 rolled around which made things WORSE (for the environmentalists, at least).
