I'm actually going to miss Filefront. Not so much the main site, but I visited their Half-Life 2 section quite a lot.

I was always hammered with the full-page "Click here to continue to FileFront" bullshit ones, along with the YOU MUST REGISTER TO DOWNLOAD THIS FILE.

The more annoying and invasive your ads are, the more I'm going to block them. It's not that hard of a concept.

Fakefactory used that as his main filehost for the Cinematic HL2 mod.
Oh well, I'm sure the big stuff will find other places to go.

I think the only thing really in danger is the ancient files nobody updates any more, and even then if you're really that concerned, just download them and find them a better place
