I've been posting less because my accursed Entrepreneurship class has been bogging us down with presentation projects that involve installing confusing and invasive programs onto our laptops. Fortunately, we're done with those... until next week.

You need this major business aspect class...why?

You startin your own business or somethin?

Digital Media major. They want to prepare us for the fact that we're going to be going out into the entertainment industry, working as freelance designers and such, as well as possibly joining existing design companies which will probably use the programs we're being forced to demo. (They're version control and resource management programs.)

However, the only good thing about the class is it's teaching us stuff about metadata, checksums, hashing, mySQL, PHP, and other stuff that seems like it would be in a separate couse.

Edit: And I actually have a Virtual Machine of Windows XP on this laptop. It's the only reason I can tolerate it.

I've gotten used to my laptop's touchpad. I can actually do some things in programs like Photoshop with it now.

I still can't draw with it though. :/
