My sleep schedule is all fucked up because of spring break and recent sickness. I would go to bed real late and wake up in the early afternoon. Now I'm back at school and my schedule is still stuck in break mode. This suck because I'm having massive trouble falling asleep at night. Waking up is getting better...

Seriously, last night I went to bed at 2 AM. That's normal for me. I tossed and turned for an hour. I just wasn't tired. Finally I decided to try and make myself tired by using the computer around 3 AM and stayed up another hour doing that. 4 AM rolled around and I turned off the computer and tried once more to sleep but still no good. Finally 5 AM rolled around and I still was tossing and turning. I think I finally fell asleep around 5:30 only after changing my freaking sleep orientation. I literally undid all my sheets and moved my pillows to the foot of my bed, then redid all the sheet in the opposite direction. Only then did I finally fall asleep.

This is getting freaking annoying.

I don't know if it will work as well but I just make sure that I'm in bed at the time I want to sleep (2AM for me) and then just lay there till my clock rings.

This works well because for me it doesn't really matter how much I sleep, as long as I just lie down calm in my bed.

Maybe try that out? just you know, not really caring if you sleep or not and more caring if you're calm and lazy?

And lastly: Having a time when you always go to bed helps a LOT, preferably a time where you''l sleep in a multiple of 1,5 hours. Just so you won't wake up in the middle of a sleep cycle.

I had the same problems when I was sick some weeks ago. I went to bed but just didn't want to sleep for some reason. I tried to use the computer too, but it actually made me more awake.

I have lots of problems going to sleep at night, but I'm usually energetic and lively no matter how much sleep I get, as long as I have something energizing for breakfast. Waffles? Yes please!

My sleep schedule is all over the place. On weekends I never go to bed any earlier than 4AM and usually get up at around 12-1PM. On weekdays I usually go to bed at midnight although sometimes it may take be an hour or two before I fall asleep .

Of course since my March break just ended things have been kind of difficult (although I didn't have any trouble falling asleep on the night before school started again because I only got about three hours of sleep the night before )

I'm fine with my sleep schedule...but since I don't have to be at work until 2pm, I've been sleeping in longer than I used to.

I have a royally fucked up sleep schedule, but that's because I've always been a night owl, combined with the fact that I have a 3rd shift job now in addition to my day job.

I go to bed too late but I can't go to bed as soon as I get home.

I mean, come on... you NEED to do things when you get home to get your mind off of work.

Well it's almost 4 AM and I'm still pretty damn awake. I tried going to bed earlier then I remembered that I needed to make a purchase online in hopes of it arriving this weekend when I'll be home to pick it up. Saves my mom having to send it to me back here at school.

Sup horrible sleep schedule buddies

It's 4:08 and I have to wake up at 9 for class tomorrow, so instead of trying to get a decent amount of sleep I'm now trying to pull an all nighter, take a power nap between classes, then crash at around 5 PM. I'm hoping that'll somehow fix my broken sleep schedule instead of just making it worse.

Tonight (this morning?) I'm planning on going to sleep soon, so I'm not up too early tomorrow (today) since I have to work from 4p-9p and again 12a-8a.

My sleep schedule is a little off, and I blame Daylight Savings Time for part of that. I've been trying to get myself to go to bed at midnight, but usually stay up until 1 am. Though now recently I've found myself not only awake but active at 2 and sometimes 3 in the morning. Three of the five weekdays I have to wake up at 8:30 because of my morning class, but on the other two days I sometimes catch myself sleeping til 11:00.

I really wish I could fix my schedule.

This is my situation exactly... hours and everything.

Well I ended up pulling that all nighter and feeling pretty great right now. Maybe I can make it all the way through the day without passing out on the sidewalk.

I'm the same way. I can't fall asleep as soon as I get home.

I've been feeling tired this week even though I'm going to bed at 11. Dunno if it's the backlash from the long weekend or the really annoying Calculus assignments, but I'm bushed.

7:30AM schedules suck balls. Never again.

Mine used to be pretty fucked up for a while, then I moved and suddenly it's nearly back to normal(*).

I *hated* starting school at 8 AM downtown. That meant leaving here at 7, which meant getting up at 6. Those were bad times.

Same thing when I had to do training for work; 8 AM start, leaving home at 7, up at 6. Three weeks of hell.

My sleep's weird too. I can usually consistently fall asleep, but... if I'm not feeling up to par for some reason, I end up falling out in a class sometimes.

Especially sucks when I'm sick like now, since I usually end up missing two or so classes because I just don't have the energy to stay awake. I hate it.

Well it's like how today I fell asleep after waking up on time for my first class (Read: 9:05) and didn't wake up until the middle of my last class (Read: 2:30). I partially blame late-night shenanigans but I couldn't pass talking with someone I haven't been able to say hi to in a while...
