Wait, when was this a Phantom Brave topic?

In the meantime, I ask this. Am I the only one who appreciates (to a large extent) the top-screen map feature in this version of the game? The Item World is a bit too random and can make long distances seem just a short ways away. Unless you have the instincts to rotate every time, not having a map could irritate you. Or just me, depends.

Very useful. Even more so for counting long range attacks.

You are not the only one that appreciates that map. I sometimes go through entire item world floors only looking at that top screen map only looking down to see my damage numbers. Not sure how it was in the Playstation version, but I would think it would be a hassle not to have that map on screen all the time.

Is there a map system in Disgaea 2? I'm so getting a used one to play for spring break, regardless of map availability.

Ooh, higher angle.

I also seem to lack balance with my units in terms of leveling. I know that getting singular, overpowered units is part of the game, but does it really have to be this hard to level Lv20s with an extra Lv90-something Prinny? Then the next highest level is Lv38...a bad ratio, I believe. Comment?

In Disgaea I had Laharl at level 9999 with 60k stored levels. All of my characters were really low levels, or at levels you got them.

Yeah, well that's imbalance. What I'm looking for is a method to quickly get any units that I have at less than half my top unit's level (read: every unit) at or above that line. HL is one solution I've heard of, but getting that is halfway slow and could use some brokers, which would still be slow.

Oh wait...bonus rank for better items in the later chapters. Why didn't I think of that already?...sigh. Well, at least I know what to DO, the problem is DOING it. Chapter 10-1 starts tonight.

This but change that to a Majin and about 250k stored levels.

The only problem is that he only had a weapon mastery of 101 for sword and it would've been far better with 255.

And it's not even the best gear I could get on him...or the best specialists.

Lv.102 Prinny on my side of the deal, but I can't show that. Do you want me to type down stats and skills since I can't photograph?

Also, an Item World floor that was all red (except for a few spots) and covered in Damage%80. Good way to discourage travel.

Not too bad. Getting a Rogue up to level 5140 will net you anything in the game for stealing.

Although all three of those classes you show I don't prefer playing with...but I will say a Prinny is more worth it in the original Disgaea than the rest of them...or at least it felt as such.

Yeah, so many people at GameFaqs insist on getting the Yoshi ASAP to be able to do anything. I feel a sense of accomplishment having beaten all the extra bosses (except zetta) without ever obtaining said overpowered sword.

Not to say, I am not pursuing it, but now its mainly for 100% item rate reasons. Anyone here have 100% item rate? (All quality levels of all weapons/armors/etc)

Haha, hell no.

I've beaten all the extra bosses except Zetta so far, and I came pretty close to beating Zetta. Bonus points for doing so with Stronger Enemies still on maximum
