He was attacked and his pals didn't bother to help out.

Ninetales: "Just about done on this floor... I wonder what'll be next?"

Sukasa, checking under an overturned mine cart on his square, found a small tab with a flower marking on it...a Flower Tab!

Ninetales: "Ooh, neat item. It raises your base FP a little when it's used."

Darkdata tripped over a Bob-omb--thankfully with an unlit fuse... He still took 3 damage from the fall.

Kattwah, satisfied with his display of strength, picked up a green Frog Coin hidden on his square!

William, getting up and slicing the Glumba, did 5 damage to it, enough to knock it back but not enough to defeat it...


The Glumba jumped at William, its flying tackle doing 2 damage to him.

Ninetales, silent for once, watched as the four took out the remaining threats on the floor...

Sukasa started off with a blast of fire, which scorched the Glumba for 10 damage to crispy-fry it... He and William shared the spoils: 72 SP and 6 coins.

William didn't attack anything...

Kattwah wound up for a Superstrike and smacked the Bob-omb with his mallet, seeing it fly harmlessly away down a mine shaft after taking 11 damage from the swipe... He racked up 70 SP and 7 coins with the smack.

Darkdata didn't have anything left to ice down...


From down one of the mine shafts, the four could hear the clattering of a mine cart rolling down the tracks...

Suddenly, a cart rolled out of one of the shafts high up on the wall, rumbling across the raised tracks. It hit an uneven spot and jolted its contents into the air, tossing out some of them to the four adventurers below...

Four SuperShrooms fell to the ground as the cart continued on its path down the tracks. Each adventurer picked one up to keep...

Ninetales: "Huh? That was strange...where did that mine cart come from? It didn't sound like there was anyone down any of the mine shafts...

Finished looking around the area they were at, the four followed Sukasa through a tunnel in the wall, after taking a quick rest...
Kattwah regained 1 HP and 3 FP, William only got a short, unfulfilling rest to restore 1 FP, and Darkdata regained 3 HP and 3 FP.

Sukasa also found 50 SP floating down the tunnel, which surrounded him with a bright glow...

The tunnel led to another underground area, much like the first. They could only see a small area of it, with more stretching away from them coated in murky blackness. They could tell there was more to this area, but it probably wasn't particularly safe to enter unless it could be lit...

William: I doubt a simple lightswitch would light that area up. I mean we are in a tower that somehow ended up going to an underground mine shaft.
