(I play way too much Zelda Classic xD)

I got this idea while doing a puzzle. Why I got it, I don't know...

Take a look at this puzzle. I already started to complete it. The object is to get the light blue block that has no arrow on it to the button. The blocks can only move across the checkered floor.

Pay special attention to the arrow block 2 squares to the right of the no arrown block(The topmost arrow block). In order to get the block to the switch, you need to push the block a certain amount of distance. Now here is where the optional and not needed at all thinking comes in.

Would you....(Both answers are correct, this is an opinion question)

(A)

Push the arrow block so that it is just out of the way of the block you need to get to the switch.

(B)

Push the arrow Block all the way just for the hell of it. You dont have to, but by instinct, you do anyways.

Push it all the way to see what happens.

Probably all the way for symmetric purposes.

If it's allowed that's usually a sign for something...

Oh my god, Kattwah's layout works!
--------------------------------

If the dungeon sucked, I'd simply push it one space away, as my 'god let it end' instinct would kick in.

If the dungeon is awesome, and I have a feeling there might be something secret/a hidden switch/etc., I'd push it all the way.

I am strange like that.

I'd push it all the way. It's possible, so it only makes sense.

But if that were true, we wouldn't have puzzles that were so...

...interesting.

Every of us has a ⑨ inside.
----------------------------
Only the required distance becouse the Zelda Classic blocks are usually extremelly sensitive and I'd end up getting the other block stuck otherwise.

Only the required distance because I'd be bored with the room by then.

Block puzzles annoy me so I'd probably go for A, however knowing ZC's engine, I'll probably accidentally push it the whole way. That engine pushes blocks if you're barely touching them. Screwed up quite a few puzzles that way.

It depends.

Did I just have to clear out an annoyingly long series of enemies? Is this the dozenth time I've had to finish this puzzle because ZC doesn't want to let me through the room without a hassle? Were the last five rooms practically the same puzzle?

If the answer to any of these questions is "yes", then no, I would not push the block all the way.

Otherwise, sure thing. Push that block!

It depends on the quest(or ZC Version, I'm not sure which). Some quests only require a tap where others require 1/3-3/4ths of a second to be able to push it(The one I'm playing is about 1/3 and that isn't just tapping)

Yeah but that's also the same in the original Zelda; some blocks are a lot more sensitive than others for some strange reason.

I just hate being stuck in a room with 15 different blocks and having to give each of them a push to see if anything happens. You *are* allowed to make things obvious sometimes.

Well the arrow puzzles usually have an obvious solution.

Now stick rows of blocks in a checkerboard formation and make the goal get from one side to the other where sonly a few blocks move a specific direction and most of them don't move at all. Now that sucks.

I hated in ZC quests when the puzzles reset themselves and you had to solve them again every time you went through that room. That was annoying.

I hate "push a random block" puzzles in general.

You know, it's strange, Zelda and Metroid are two of my favorite series, yet both got their start with puzzles that you solve by bombing everywhere without reason. Which I would never accept in a new game.
