That's pretty much the ruleset for this Sunday. So if you want to make one of the ancient classic games like "Word Association", go do it. I don't care, and it may very well last even after today's over.

Basically, go nuts, have fun.





Obviously, there are other common sense rules, though, but they shouldn't have any impact:
- If we tell you not to do something, don't
- Follow the NSFW rule in the FAQ (#6). This isn't optional.


Edit: Oh, I might as well mention; I edited the FAQ slightly. Most importantly, one redundant rule was removed and another one (the NSFW one, #6, was added). Aside from that nothing of interest really changed, but I figured I'd mention it.

I'd say that's a good idea but you're asking the wrong person to start it.

I have no idea how a SF thread works, really...I'm more used to the Pit of 100 Trials type of threads, where it's more a game with story elements.

Essentially the same thing except no mod in the sense that the person who started it GENERALLY has an idea of where something would be headed and actively participates. People that participate generally add to the idea (i.e. help the idea and don't steal the limelight for themselves).

Being natural helps.

That's easier said than done for some.

X does some action.
Y responds to X's action(s), possibly spilling the beans on thought-up plot.
Z responds to Y, plot commences.
Y does too, hence story. Y and Z guide the plot boat down the plot river.
X remembers he was supposed to make some post ten days ago.

I would say let's get Kirbynite/JDavis/Thoughtless/cpu to post here as well as their own board, but... :\

Their RP board is really active too... I want to say there's five or six active stories there, with only somehting like 12 people posting regularly at most, so not a lot of different people but lots of RPing.
