Good point, it's not going to be perfect, especially for these very special situations, and therefore it shouldn't be a feature. In fact, a lot of thing aren't, so just remove those as well.

It would take less effort combined for you, Carcat, to use the url tag in every post you make a link, than it took to make this topic and argue about it.

I understood the question. I never called you all lazy...it's the other way around. Whether I confused an opera extension with a firefox extension is beside the point.

The point I wanted to get across was:

*If this were in the original coding, none of you would be complaining to remove it.
*No matter which way you look at it, there will always be an alternate method of doing said feature's job.
**Case: Why have BBCode when you can use the better HTML.

...and to add to that:

*Lets say someone didn't add the [url]'s to their post, if someone is on a mobile device looking at the site, most are probably basically screwed because they can't copy and paste the URL.
