So these past 6 days at my new job has been very interesting. There's been foods that I have never heard or/tried that I tasted and actually liked.

For example, heart of palm. Never heard of it until a few days ago. I tried it and hated it. Then we mixed a few things together, threw it into a salad and it was really good. I even added olives into it, saying that it would taste better and some feta cheese on top of it, and it was better.

I also tried capicola and last night I ordered pizza with it on it.

So has there been any foods out there that you thought you would never like but finally tried and liked it?

Not especially.

If there's something I want to try, I'll try it; if I don't want it, I don't want it. About that simple on about how picky I am.

I am very unadventurous and don't like trying foods that look or smell unappealing. A food adventure for me is putting barbeque sauce on a hotdog for the first time.

Though, a while ago I tried some spinach, and it wasn't as bad as it smelled. I kinda liked it, I guess. Just don't let my family know.

Yeah, I'm not an adventurous eater either.

I never really liked pickles, even though I couldn't remember ever trying any. So, I tried a pickle.

Now I know why I don't like pickles.

It's kind of weird, I guess, but everytime I go to a restaurant/food place, I get the exact same thing. No matter where I go, I can pretty much just say "the usual" and my family will know what I want.

Sweet pickles are good! Give me a bag of dill pickle chips and I'm a very happy cleric.

Sometimes I come close to keeling over when I walk into the lunchroom at work with all the different cultures and their... shall we say, unappetizing to me food.

I used to be the same way, where I would have the same sandwich at Subway or the same TV dinners and so on...in the past few years I've made it my duty to change that and to try new things.
