Also, the file for the voices is 11MB. If they fit quite a few voice parts already in just 11MB, they really should have went with a larger cart and did them all. The largest file is the sprites which is 19MB.

That would have to be 128MB even with the expected cuts I'd imagine.

They put as much as possible into the game, and given how I barely trimmed anything off of the rom, well... it's packed.

Small (large) bump.

I just started playing this game, and I am really having a blast.

This is the kinda system for a TBS-RPG that I really like. Although I would really would of liked to have heard all the voice overs for this game..

That goes then without saying get the original on the PS2 or the version of this on the PSP.

Once 2 on the PSP comes out, that'll be another one to grab. DS will be lucky to get that version that isn't smashed to hell.

Anyway, I'm still playing it through for the first time. I loved chapter 6 and chapter 8 was very touching. I have a Scout named Scout and I love him.

They're doing this with Phantom Brave, however (same series), so you will at least get something.

Although the way it looks with the semi-HD is less than par from what I saw the other night...

The only thing I can say about that, then, is that I seriously hope they give the difficulty a retooling. From what I've heard, it's very, very, very difficult.

Now I've beat it but the system isn't something you're going to pick up easily.

Ahhhh the reason I'll get games like that is BECAUSE of the difficulty.

Not a masochist, per se, but it's great to get a game that has that kind of a rep behind it and then beat into a pulp.

Honestly, once you get the system down, it's really not that hard. In fact, the only thing 'hard' about any of the extras at the end is just that you have to level grind in order to beat it but in the sense of not only yourself but the weapon you also carry.

It's as simple as your stats versus your weapon's stats...no other defense or inventory or anything like that.

Disgaea's a great example. You play, you get your ass kicked at some point, you fiddle around with stuff and level up then go kick some ass.

Once I get into Disgaea 2 that'll be expanded somewhat, I'm guessing.

I'm looking forward to PB Wii but I wonder how hard it'll be to find here... then again, Disgaea 3 was EVERYWHERE when it came out here and looked to be selling well.

There are plenty!

I think the main one that is a staple for RPGs in general is that it has a really good story (although a bit sappy at points). I mean I'm sure some don't really care and want a great system to deal with and not really worry about what the story has in it but it was enough for me to play through it twice with no New Game+ being available.

Likely, that will be one of the chief things added...probably a better way to transmigrate too (as it was fairly pointless and hard to do in the original and it wasn't spelled out how to do it).
