Fuck you. I hate seeing suicidal pyros. Completely skillless pieces of trash. Overpowered in large pubs, underpowered in competitive. A fundamentally bad class. People can talk about "strategy" all they want with pyros, but at the end of the day, equip the backburner and just run into a large group, and kill them all. |

| I have no problem with single W+M1 pyros. The real problem is that now here are 5 on a team because you can no longer counter them with heavies. |

I'm a backburner pyro, but not a suicide one. I hide in the shadows till someone gets in front of me and BURRRRRRRRN! I love cleaning out small areas too. I pretty much find ways to get behind people, or sneak up on them(Hello camping snipers!)

Is it not best to force the medic to uber prematurely? That and heavies are easy, especially as a suicidal pyro. That's the point of being a suicidal pyro in the first place really. Burn, hack, hack, and run. I normally survive doing that.

By that you mean camping, correct? That's not suicidal at all... That's camping... Totally different play style...
You also also claim you used no keyboard. That sir, is impossible and you know it, but knowing you... It's probable to assume you're exaggerating.
And again, I'd like to point out that we don't give a shit about skill and the amount needed to flaunt e-peeners. We're speaking of effective use. That image there proves my point. Pyro = effective.

I was on attack. How can you camp on attack on a payload map? No, I played just like pyros do: ran forward at the enemies, blowing fire everywhere. It takes no talent, and is highly effective in pubs.
And, yes, I literally used no keyboard. I bound forward to mouse2, and just did mouse1+mouse2 the entire match. Any other feature usually used on a keyboard, such as strafing, moving back, calling for medic, jumping, voice chat, switching a weapon, etc. were all unavailable to me. |

What? Heavies counter Pyros any day of the week unless they get a crit stream and the Heavy isn't spun. Heck, I've beaten Pyros that run in suicidally with my bare hands and lived to tell the tale. The heavy has massive HP and will kill a Pyro before the Pyro will kill it - the only way to reliably win is to get some axtinguisher chops.
And it is best to force premature ubers, but a half-decent medic isn't going to allow you to get behind them most of the time...and suiciding, a medic on fire takes less than 50 damage from afterburn thanks to regen. Pyros are absolutely amazing against bad and unaware players, but can't take anyone half decent. I dunno, maybe it's just because there's so many more people on US servers there's a much larger variance in skills...or people only play crap like 2Fort but I rarely see a Pyro top the scoreboard ever and I struggle to make Top 3 as pyro unless I'm having a great day where I flame, shotty and axe like magic.
