I think he had a megaman recolor transforming into a met from megaman series.... Or maybe I'm totally off-track.

I'd probably remember if he (hey you!  ) had a layout like that since a lot of his stuff was MM-related...
I don't know if it's more people "knowing" how to make layouts or people "borrowing code" from others, but still.

I think it is the fact we moved from layouts that used a lot of images to more simplistic ones with only a few images.
Because I do recall JD's having images for borders and such.

Yeah, they were also full of html tables and nonsense like that. But I eventually moved onto CSS and my style changed quite a bit. Then I started doing the monthly themed layouts and such.
Actually, one of my layouts is still in working order over on archive2. It's a Halloween one. |
