I didn't know that this is coming up until it was mentioned on a news broadcast. So as a reminder to myself and for others, come this Saturday/Sunday we set the clocks ahead one hour. I can't wait, I love having more sunlight.

Yeah, I was just reminded of it earlier tonight. I really don't know why we bother. It's just a big hassle.

I don't mind having more sunlight, but I hate losing an hour of sleep.

Great. Clocks go ahead an hour and the next day I go to work an hour early.

They actually made the time between changing our clocks long since we "fall back" later on in the year than before. I think we gained a few extra weeks, maybe a month.

I remembered because the manager at work posted a notice saying, "Remember that Day Light Savings starts on Sunday. Forgetting will not be an excuse for being late."

I remembered about this a few days ago, and was reminded by my AP World History teacher and my parents.

Once again I'm going to have to be confused for a while with the two different times I'll have to keep track of.

Man, I wish my work shift fell on that day so I would get one less hour of work. But nooooo, mine had to be on the fall daylight savings, so I had to work an extra hour. Damnit.

Ironically, I start my hours even earlier STARTING this next week (go from 7AM arrival to 6AM).

So it's going to feel like I'm getting to work at 5AM and getting up at 3:40 (when it'll be 6 AM to work and 4:40 respectively).

SAVE YOUR SPIEL ON DAYLIGHT...I'm not even going to be close to it starting this next week in the mornings.

I hate when this happens. Of course it's nice for the day to last longer before it gets dark but I really don't like losing an hour of sleep (or in my case video game playing time).

I usually remember daylight savings. Not that it matters though, I don't move the clock either way.

I guarantee people across North America will be late for work on Sunday. Hell, I'll guarantee people at my work will be late and I'll hear some good stories on Monday.

Sucks to lose that hour of sleep but I'm relishing the thought of that extra hour of sunlight, so it balances out.
