What other MMOs have you played?
Let's see.
Every goddamn fucking rpg is just a fucking level grind because there's nothing fucking productive or fun to do in them.
All MMORPGs (esp. ones you have to pay for) are level grinds by design; there's just no way you can fit a mass of players into a game and still have a respectable story due to conflicts all around (for exmple, one character may be further in the plot than another)... on that note, an interesting MMO-game would be one that constantly developed depending on the actions of the players, i.e. if some towns or areas weren't defended they would be taken over by enemies and destroyed, but could later be cleaned up and so on.
Beyond that, only some "real" RPGs have level grinders; and even hen you can just cheat to get around it.
(On that note, why are they RPGs? If you define an RPG as a "Role-playing" game, every game is one because you're always playing the role of the main character; I igues it's just because there's no better name for a game with a lot of numbers and storyline )
