Kattwah: No signal... Really thoughm I bet the reverberations from crystals in this mine are causing interference... Er... wait a minute... arent we supposed to be in the tower...

...

Ninetales... run the usual diagnostics and analysis for me... This is getting weird...

He presses a button for full power mode on the PDA and slips it back into the sack, heading to Square 11

Ninetales: "No, it's nothing like what you're thinking, William... You guys have been missing for almost three months now! No one knew what had happened to you, and people were starting to get worried..."

As Ninetales began running some diagnostics on the area, the four explorers began checking the floor...

Sukasa found some sparkling Star Points on the square he chose: 20 in all.

William noticed 5 coins shining up at him from the murky darkness.

Darkdata found an unused TastyTonic in the corner of the room.

Kattwah picked up 10 coins from the dusty floor.

Puzzled, the four looked around the floor for clues to their actual location...

Sukasa, inspecting the square closely, couldn't find anything of use on it.

As Kattwah stood on his square, he saw a bright light shining from under an overturned mine cart. Pushing it sideways, he touched the ball of light inside--and instantly felt stronger...
(OOC: It's 1 AP! Pick a skill to raise, but note that effects may not be fully visible until you gain a level... ;;)

Darkdata found another item, this time a Mystery capsule.

William found 20 Star Points floating on the square!

The four kept looking around the mine shaft...

Sukasa, making sure to check before walking onto his square, found a small creature walking around on it: an angry-looking Glumba. It looked a little more powerful than its Gumba cousins, though it wasn't attacking anyone yet...

Kattwah, after using the power to boost his magic resistance, wandered over to square 8, where he found 5 coins.

William found nothing but an empty square...

Darkdata, after forgetting to move to the square he wanted to check, walked over near the wall of the shaft. He found an old mine cart turned upside-down near the tracks, and he got the sudden urge to check out what was underneath it...

Their enemy-less run ran out with the unearthing of the Glumba, but the four continued to press on...

Kattwah played whack-a-Glumba a little too hard, squashing the Glumba for 11 damage and an instant KO. He picked up 60 SP and 6 coins that the game Glumba had dispensed...

Sukasa walked to square 16, picking up 5 coins on the way.

William swung right into another Glumba, taking just 2 damage from it.

Darkdata, hoping to find something valuable under the mine cart, found just 1 coin laying in the dirt...too bad!
