Once again...another idea from another board...but I do run into this sometimes when I want to ask something and find that I'm not able to effectively do this without listing 27 choices.

Basically, I'd be asking for a way to ask more than one question in a poll. Separate polls in a single poll (instead of multiple threads concerning the same topic).

Figured it's worth a shot to ask.

That does sound like a good idea. It would help lower the amount of threads. I guess someone could try to make this.

No, as in changing it would require considerable effort rewriting newthread and thread.php.

It's possible, but at that rate you might as well just make poll creation/editing a seperate page.
