Pyro needs more stealth than you think.
Spy is awful, I agree.
Soldier and Demoman aren't as easy as they look.
Try maps other than 2fort.

Soldier: Rockets that move slowly...
Heavy: On 1 to 1, just hope that the yget right in front of your minigun...
Engineer: Build Sentry. Ignore Sentry. Spy find Sentry. Spy sap Sentry. Sentry gone.
Medic: Dont forget firing hundreds of needles at enemies. that is fun too.
Sniper: Just stay as far back as you can

Interestingly, the people I typically play with actually hate 2fort. Every time I play it, at least one person complains about it. (And a few more typically agree) I, personally, have nothing against it, but I couldn't stand playing the same map over and over.

Anyway, I agree with Spontaneous Madness. I play on every official map, and they're all pretty fun. (Especially after playing the same few maps over and over for a while)

Not just official maps. There's a payload map called Cashworks that's really fun to play, and then there's Blackmesa.

I only dislike 2fort because of 3 snipers on each team. :/

Yeah, Cashworks and Blackmesa are custom maps.
I've got the map files on my harddrive if anyone wants them. Dunno about custom materials for them though.
And I'd be up for a custom map pack.

2fort get's boring if played on that for a long time(Though I don't get bored of 24/7 Lumberyard...)

I also enjoy playing on all the regular maps(Even Junction)

And I have a few of the custom maps(Cahsworks, Mario Kart, Bedroom)

2fort gets boring when there's not enough excitement going around. You gotta keep the audience entertained by pushes and pushbacks and what not!

However, it is a bit fun to play on other maps, as I did today. I was trying to work on the other scout achievements. I find it funny that the one achievement I've been trying so hard to get, Gun Down (where you destroy a sentry with a pistol), on 2fort was casually obtained in another map, and I wasn't even trying for it. I suppose that's how achievements should work.

Hum.. You know, I'd love to see someone figure out how to play as TF2 characters in a Left4Dead campaign.

2Fort is just a bad map, a relic of days gone by that's still inexplicably popular.

Seriously. It's the worst official/official community map in TF2. Hydro is a superior map in every way despite the fact it stalemates every other match. :o

As far as custom maps go, there's only like 1 server in Australia that runs customs that isn't filled with instaspawn crap or achievement whoring so I don't get to try much....but.....Custom Payloads can be fun, I liked Pl_Mill and Pl_Frontier (although it crashes me a lot). Pl_Great Heights isn't bad either...but that underwater section is a serious piece of arse....and the first section is rather tough to break out of if you've got a bad team.

I generally play Spy or Medic, although if I'm cruising for a bruising I'll pull out the Heavy or the Pyro.

Getting to the otherside of 2Fort without getting murdered is difficult. Getting it on a map where you have to capture the enemy's 2 capture points is much easier because the action begins right at your spawn point and slowly moves to theirs...

Being a semi-offensive Engie on 2fort is kinda fun, setting up a base in their sewers. Other than that, I'd rather play on CP maps (or Turbine)

My best guess is they set up a dispenser or sentry, got on top of it, and tried to find a place where they could get a teleporter exit up. That's how people get on top of Gravel Pit's B Building.
