Hey guys. It's me, Lishy. From Doujinstyle.
I'm an old, retired "rom hacker"(As people call it, despite not doing much "hacking"), but Hiryuu (Known as "Nao" on this forum?) insisted I'd join. So he persuaded me to join, and I did. Here I am!! *Dramatic music*

So, Sup' guys?
As said before, I am kind of retired from rom hacking. But I've had a "Kaizo" YI hack sitting on my C-Drive for god knows how long, and I may attempt to complete it. Of course, that Kaizo YI hack would also feature redrawn graphics. I've already completed the wood castle tileset.

I'm also a big fan of RPG's, especially those created by Game Arts, such as Grandia, and I'm a big fan of Bullet Hell SHMUPS such as Touhou or the freeware games developed by X.X
But one of my most played games of all time has to be Guild Wars, and not to get cocky, but I'm a pro at it too! (IGN= Kain Fy, if you ever want to play together)

My main goal in "creation" is to map out an RPG game I'm making, then develop it with RPG Maker XP. So sorry if I am not able to contribute much to the rom hacking part of this website. But I may be able to draw graphics and help with story or ideas for rom hacks. It's what I'm best at anyways. Though recently I have been learning a bit about music theory and I am trying to get better at composing, which will allow me to make music for some rom hacks in the future.

Anyways, I'll drop by this community every once in awhile, and I'll try not to be a burden to you guys.

This community really doesn't have much to do with ROM hacking any more (aside from SM64, sometimes), though, so no big problem there, heh. Just stick around and chat, really.

Hiryuu's big on name changes, so... yeah. Still Hiryuu, though.

I'm actually not worried very much about that.
My main concern would be getting back on track for rom hacking, and somehow gaining the understanding of how to edit every aspect of Fire Emblem to make my own tactical RPG.

Let's hope I have the patience to wait until the editor gains the necessary support, or I gain the intelligence to understand the tutorial of making my own maps and chapters, since I don't consider myself the brightest guy around. I'm really rusty in rom hacking

And yes, I realize this ain't no FE hacking community. But there's no rule saying I can't share my projects and gain criticism rom the view point of a rom hacker, is there?

Actually, I'm one of those of us who doesn't actually play Touhou games (because I blow at shmups

), but I certainly do appreciate the fan-stuff that comes from it, like the Super Marisa Land/World games and IOSYS's Touhou videos and whatnot.

Also, the only ROM hacking I had even partial success with was Pokemon hacking, but I found it to be too limited for me to work with when I stopped hacking around 2006. I might pick it back up, since AdvanceMap has been improved so much.
