So -- what do you do with all that change you aquire?

Any 25¢ pieces usually go into The Laundry Fund™... although sometimes they're lumped in with the rest and put into the Change Bin&tm;, which currnetly has about $10 in various round shiny things.

These days cards are used a lot more often than paper, though, so we don't get coins very often.

I've got one of those auto-sorting change banks that I drop it all into. Once it's full I go trade in the rolls of change for actual dollar bills (or use the quarters for laundry too).

I actually had one of those, but for the most part they were almost completely useless (I'd have to remove coins that went down the wrong chute, it'd sometimes get stuck, etc). Maybe they've improved in the last few years, but eh.

I have a coke bottle that is about 1/4 full of pennies . As for quarters, I usually use them and a combination of other coins to buy my lunch at school .

I keep loose change in a jar, but I keep quarters in my wallet. The change jar, when it gets full, gets put back into my bank account. The coolest coin I have right now is a $1 coin one of the ticket machines at the Metro gave me. It's all shiny and gold!

I prefer to use cash--keeps my spending in check. I know if I go to the ATM more than once a week, I'm spending way too much.

My change goes towards bus fare when I take public transportation back to my parent's place. It's the sure fire place I know where I can kill off my pennies.
