I've got the game (360 version).

I totally love this game's fighting engine. Totally. And I can actually pull off Shoryukens with the thumbstick! I don't like the boss, though. Very very very cheap. There were rounds where I couldn't do anything because he kept moving around and grabbing me. THROWS SHOULDN'T HAVE PRIORITY! D=

Actually, throws are something I hardly see when I play normal 2d fighting games. Not sure how the odds of that work.

Ah I've seen plenty of them...

Heck one that abuses the piss out of them, for instance, is DBZ Hyper Dimension back on the Super Famicom. You couldn't even tech hit out of them, it was so cheap. Their priority was annoyingly high.

Yeah, from what I read on Kotaku it seems like Seth falls into SNK Boss territory.

...You know, Capcom, if you can somehow get Tatsunoko vs. Capcom Wii released in America... I might consider it. :\

One of the roommates is picking it up either this weekend or next, I think. I think its the PS3 version though. Kind of looking forward to it but I heard the controls are some kind of nasty to get used to (the whole "black power" thing). Still, anything beats SF2 HD Remix...

Speaking of SF2 HD Remix, I had played it for a bit. Just could not seem to get past the halfway point in arcade mode. Apparently, I've been playing too many games with more than three frames of animation for anything that I just can't do well in that game. It actually made me worried if I could do anything in SFIV.

Fortunately enough, I did well enough in SFIV. I can usually get up to Seth with out losing a match on medium. Which means I just don't agree with SF2's engine. Or something.

SSF2T in the arcades was a bit tough but this feels slightly more difficult. The console version of SSF2 was a hell of a lot simpler than the one in the arcade.

If you base it on console, you're going to be in for a surprise. A lot of games, anymore, are becoming increasingly tough...and I like that to a degree but it can get fairly frustrating.

The whole game was a piece of trash, but I guess that's what you get for letting Capcom outsource things...at least it looked/sounded pretty?

It looked pretty until you saw things in motion. Seeing HD quality graphics move with just three frames really felt awkward.

I guess it just helps make SFIV an even better game =x

Kinda hard to say who's good to play as in SFIV, as everyone's got their own good points

I haven't played as any other character aside from Ryu and Sakura (had to beat the game with Ryu to get Sakura). I'm not sure who I might wander off to, but I'll probably be sticking with Sakura. Though, I'll try to wander away from the Shotoclone-like characters at somepoint. ;
