How about that heat?
About what would you rate yourself in terms of the water heat you use in a shower/bath?

For the above, use this as a quick reference:

ICE COOOOOLD - You're probably used to using ice water and I bet you're like Kramer and free-ball it.

Cool - Probably a little less than room temperature.

Lukewarm - derp

Warm - Probably a little more than room temperature.

Hot - Toasty. Probably around 100F or so. Enough to get some steam going if you're there long enough.

SCORCHING - Something like this would be something like a spa reading 'H' which means it's way too hot for most humans without you fainting after a while...if you can get in.

>>>

I just got out of a Hot to SCORCHING hot one because I was trying to feel a little bit better...but generally I'm on the high side of Hot. Anything more than that and I can't take it and I go AH AH AH AH FUCK! and so forth.

I can't go any colder than Warm. SCORCHING tends to burn after a while so I just stick with Hot.

Generally I stay at hot, and let it go up to SCORCHING for short periods at a time.

The room is very foggy most of the time when I get out from the shower.

I'll go to the limits of Scorching over the course of the shower. Gradually I turn it up so I don't feel such a shock. I like my hot showers.

I always put it hot until the very end, where I sometimes put it to cool just "because".

Probably started when I heard one of my mom's shows saying that having hot hair puffs it up and cooling it keeps it in place. Don't know why I'd be influenced by that, though.

EDIT- Three people posted while I was writing!?

Probably hot. I'm surprised if the mirrors aren't fogged up when I get out.

I start hot and then, once my body conditions itself to the temperature, work my way up to scorching.

If I have the shower after something like playing a sport than I'll usually have it fairly cool although any other time I'll usually have it warm.

When I was in the spa last (read: long, long ago) it was 103F -- which in and of itself wasn't really burning, but after a while it pretty much felt like my body wasn't going to be getting out of it.

Needless to say I just laid on the concrete afterwards and cooled off.

Nice and hot but not too too steamy. Kills the germs. XD

If - and this happens rarely - something weird happens with the shower and it turns ice cold, I will step away from the shower until it warms up again. I don't care if it takes 5 minutes, I'm not stepping into that.

Preferably the low end of scorching. When I lived with my parents, it got hot enough that I actually couldn't stand up until the bathroom cooled because of my breathing. Quite relaxing though.

I call this the low end because that shower could actually get hotter.

Right now, though, I'm lucky for a high Warm, and I'm most displeased with this.
