At Xkeeper's request, I've decided to make a thread.

Anyways, just now, I decided to start using my headphones that I got for my birthday a month ago. After spending time opening the plastic case (well, whatever it is, I hate it), I found an instruction booklet.
Here's a pic.

In case you can't read the instructions, here's the english ones:
How to use Wear the headphone maked R on your right ear and the one marked L on your left ear.

What else do they make instructions for these days?

I got a long winded instruction pamphlet for my external harddrive, it could simply be summarized as "Put all cables into the holes where they fit". Not as bad as your but still, why would I try to put it somewhere where it doesn't fit?

I've had headphones like those before...terrible ones. Best to either use music headphones or anything from Logitech.

"Warning: Do not place headphones on ass. Headphones do not produce brown note. Headphones not for listening at loud volumes." etc.

Reason for these stupid things? Common sense isn't.

(And that stuff would be called blister packaging (or rather, clamshell, I guess; thanks Wikipedia), and yes, it is absolute shit. WP mentions that 6000 Americans go to the ER every year from trying to open it[citation needed], which should give you a good idea of how much it sucks)

I tried to open blister packaging with a swiss army knife... not the proper way to go about it.
I almost got hit in the eye with a plastic splinter. Yay for glasses.

"Failure with Leatherman."

I think I've hurt myself opening those before...

Gave my mom a good laugh with that. "It can happen" was her reply after, but there was still the three second delay.

You know you might need a set of instructions with the pair I have...

They slide over the backs of your ears, it's only one way, but it's a matter of figuring out which side is left and which is right (which isn't shown here). I would bet most people would get frustrated with a pair like these on their first go.
