I have the Euro version on my Wii (USA Wii...Yes it's chipped to answer further questions) and I played it but I never got online with it. I have so many other games to finish, but I'll try online later.

EDIT: Alright I should be good, took a few more stabs at the cup mode and I should be good for a few online matches.

I apparently need alot of practice because everyone online wrecks me.

Also, don't play people with less then 3 star connection rate. It's tough to actually play. But 3 or 4 star is perfect play.

Yeah, without an instruction manual, I've been in the dirt too. I've figured just about everything out though.

Also, today marks the first day a Wii game was no dumped to the internet a day in release...At least I can practice with this (laggy europeans) version....

WTF is the point of having a region lock on Wi-Fi play between friends? Couldn't they have just put a "Warning: You're in the States, your friend's in Europe, there might be some lag" message in there?

Pretty dumb oversight especially since I hear the online play in the game is quite good.

So, yesterday I played against the like #3 guy, and I took the first game to Sudden Death, but he destroyed me in the second game.

Only thing I can think of is that Nintendo wants to wait until all territories get the game to remove the lock... hell, DS games aren't region-locked for WiFi.

Yeah, Nick, remove my Europe code from that list...It's useless now, the (U) version is far superior in terms of lag fixing, and also I couldn't have both Saves on my Wii because they were both called Mario Strikers.
