Of course this is also entirely dependant on Sukasa actually sending me the damn archive any time soon.

Seeing as how I really didn't post much at all back then, choosing somthing would similiar be similiar to making a wild guess.

Ah man I forgot about Circuit.

Does numgfx.php work with this server?

*Metal_Man88 votes for Desolation, despite not having most of the files for that.

Besides that, though, uhhh... Circuit seems popular, I'll give it another vote.

I've pretty much permanently disabled numgfx because it is an absolute server hog.

Though the "old" version of the code (that output individual numbers instead of one big one) is, iirc, still active. I might consider implementing "Regular, with numgfx" soon, even...

If it was able to render it without being a server kill, that'd be sweet.

Made a slight change to the index, too, in that it actually shows "new" now, making it, you know, easier to find. And stuff.

eh

Wait a tic...how do you make the index render numbers?

Wouldn't it be the same for post counts, etc.?

Yeah, I disabled numgfx on my server too. Even passive adbots reading my forum would drive up usage.

And the new new things are useful this time. Sorta. I knew the numbers meant 'new topics', but it was kind of intuitively. The 'new' text shouts at me a bit more obviously.

Using the method that outputs several images.

e.g, instead of "numgfx.php?n=12345", it's "image-1, image-2, image-3..."
Which means that the 10 (really 13) numbers it uses are all cached instead of every single post being a new set of digits

Then why don't we do that for the aforementioned posts, stats, etc.?

I voted for Megaman. It was one of my favourite schemes back on the Acmlm Boards (along with the Super Mario one). Although I do remember using circuit a bit as well so I guess I wouldn't mind if that one came back either

Why did Acmlm use a single image for numbers in the first place?
