(Instead of talking about aspects of systems (accessories, the system itself) in general threads, why not have threads for each system. We can use these threads to talk about the system in general, and trouble shoot help and so on.)

I could have sworn the Saturn a/v cord is the same as *blank* system. I need to figure out which since my Saturn cord has gone missing. I should just buy one since they're cheap now....along with an NES a/v cord. And once I do buy them, I betcha I'll find the missing cords.

I myself have an SNES sitting here with no power cord. It'd be great if I could find a way to get one...

I know a few systems share the same type of power cord: PsX, Ps2 large, Dreamcast, Xbox and I know there's a few others.....but SNES, isn't that the one with a large brick that sticks into the back of it? Or is that N64? Wait..I think N64 has the same power cord as a Gamecube....

None of Nintendo's power cords are the same, but the SNES, N64, and GCN all use the same triple cable.

I got one of the older SNES models. The power cord is the type that you put into where the TV cable goes.
(PAL BTW)

The N64 has the huge brick. The SNES one was more like the NES one, too.

I'm not certain, though.

The GBA SP and DS Phat both had the same power cord, though

The video cable was the one shared between a few of them, by the way, not the power cord.

I have:

Three NES'
One system that plays both NES and SNES games
Sega Genesis - Missing cable to connect to TV)
GameGear - Isn't working at the moment
Gameboy (original)
N64 - Played Star Fox 64 on it the other day. Awesome time.
PS1 - Lost my Sheep Raider game. Don't use it at the moment.
Virtual Boy - In Florida.
Intellivision - In Florida.

I really want to play my genesis again. I need to buy that cable.

I remember my SNES power cable being broken at some point (the cable actually detached from the brick thing you plug into the outlet, somehow), and that I then used the power cable of my NES for the SNES, and it actually worked.

It's been years, though, so I'm not certain about it as well.

My SNES and NES (toploader) should be sitting in a box somewhere in my garage back home. I had them both hooked up for the longest time, even when the Gamecube came out.

In fact, at one point I think we had all four systems ready for use at the same time.

We had an SNES, N64, and Gamecube all hooked up to the same TV at one point.
And then our SNES went to my grandma's house and disappeared...

I've kept all of my systems in good working order. I want to play an SNES game? Plug it in and play, no issues.

Although for a while back there, my Super Metroid cartridge would glitch up if you so much as laid a finger on it while it was in the slot. I think it was a result of me trying the Space-Time Reset glitch over and over. Made it a bit unstable....However it managed to fix itself somehow and it plays fine now.

Yea, I'm stuck with playing my classic games on the Wii or on the PC. :/
The Classic Controller works well for SNES games, that's for sure. :3

If you guys are still big on DOS gaming, as I once was, don't forget to check out sites such as Abandonia.

Get you some DosBox and fire up some Dark Forces or Scorched Earth or Wolfenstein 3D or something.

It's been a long time coming, but I'm starting to slowly let go older systems I no longer use.

Yes. Even the Virtual Boy should be gone in around a week, as much as I liked owning one. Just had it listed on ebay with my 5 games.

OMG you're selling a Virtual Boy!!! How much? If the price doesn't go up too much, I might be able to buy it.

Hopefully you don't regret selling it in a few years.

The listings are on my father's account, this is it.

Its games are Wario Land, Mario Clash, Mario Tennis, Galactic Pinball, and Golf.

If someone wins that for around $60-$70 it's a really good deal. That was how much I paid for my first virtual boy that came with almost the exact same 5 games . Of course, even if it goes higher it's still a pretty good deal.
