Rolled out this week to compete against Google docs.

At least now, as long as you have internet, you can get access to Word/Excel at any time.

Now that online Office is tied to your Live account, they could add achievements!

I've tried it out a bit. It's ... well ... Office, online. Less features, a bit buggy (on both OS X and the Windows side of things I had a few glitches, a couple crashes, and obviously some cosmetic problems.) You can't really beat the ridiculous amount of storage space they give you though, and I liked being able to have my full range of fonts available instead of a few standard ones.

But I really hate the Ribbon. It's still an anachronism compared to every other program I use. Even in a Web app it still seems out of place.
