| Hi, i hack smw either. I have some screenshot of a hack i'm Some screens I also say that i finished all cutscenes in the game, but those are only 4 of 12 i made, and they are not in order. ![]() (Let's ignore the status bar, i don't have material to remove it) ![]() As you see, it's more a cartoon. ![]() The reason of Dinomar name. I acutally disabled Layer3 with Zsnes. ![]() The mad doctor, Dr. Brian Brain Queer (meant as strange, not as gay )![]() Don't disappoint him. Now, going with level design. ![]() Sea desolation. It's acutally an autoscroll level, water on the bottom is acutally layer 2 and i can swim on it ![]() ![]() More terrain, i also would need the ROM address of how many balls the Pokey has with/without Yoshi sprite. but the strange guy stands on the water anyway ![]() ![]() A wicked fish comes into the game - It's acutally Bass sprite.![]() Some animals, i'm going to change their graphics, they look odd. ![]() Protecting himself in another EWJ like terrain ![]() Fail, "me eated" (also bird and fish graphics) For this hack, that's all. I am also working on a side-hack, but i don't tell what, but i'll show some graphics into the credits. ![]() The "odd" guy at right it a caricature of SpriterSonikku, but it's for nice joke purpose ![]() I also made other few and little credit caricatures. (censure is to don't ruin the surprise) ![]() After credits, i'll show an "art gallery" in the game ![]() I have made other works. In videos, though. Also an overworld and a glitch showoff, where i made a blooper, but it's the minor thing. That's all, for now, but i may show more. I acutally know this is more ROM hacking than SMW, but i don't think there is another forum in this site where i could post it. Am i also allowed to have an individual thread, by the way? or that's only for relase? Thanks in advance. I always knew you're a great drawer and pixel artist, but that awesome pictures...I've never seen better before than this, ever! Seriously, if these would be shown off at SMW Central, there would be an epic post madness to applaud your breathtaking work.The graphics in the level look amazing too, the 3D-effects, the character and sprite graphics, everything! I can't wait to try this sometime! ![]() I guess I can show off my work here too, I'm making an SMW hack at the moment too. It's called 'The Big Boo's Legion 2 - The Curse of the Magic Wand', a sequel of the first part of my hack. This one will be a lot of better than the first, with about 40-50 levels, complex and different level design, great graphics styling and paletting. This is a secret level video of the hack, I think I did a quite good work on this. So yeah...enjoy. ![]() -------------------- |

Conte de Contis, those all look fantastic. You will probably want someone to proofread your dialogue. There must be a sprite you can insert in the cutscenes to disable layer 3? (They really should be doing that already though... )In an event possibly related to recent cool, refreshing breezes in hell, I'm actually making progress on something. (Direct link.) The graphics are a bit broken (what the heck kind of triangle uses vertex IDs 0, 1, 0? That doesn't make any damn sense), but I can see the basic shape they're supposed to form. (Can you? )It's going to be interesting to get this working on any other machines... ended up having to patch and recompile a number of libraries to get it working right. Bleh. --------------------

Holy effing 3-up moons... i should remember this XD - Thanks but on something i could disagree: if i would show it in smw central, it wouldn't an epic post madness: firstly, i am banned for that awful and crappy crap, then... everyone prefers Broozer's graphiics uaaaaah D: So, this is not likely :/ About your video, i'd say it is nicely done level, but as you know, could have more criticism about it: i hope you don't get annoyed: 1- i acutally never liked "buy to proceed" method, like in SMW+2. but do as you want about it, it's your hack ![]() 2- in 2:21, there are those little coins that you get if you duck: if you acutally stand up there, mario gets blocked and goes to the left, and die: i acutally recommand you to fix all parts that contain this. 3- in 2:42 i didn't know they were pipes (also susaka said that, looks like): you should find a way to make people understand that's a pipe. Also:
No offense, maybe it's what they wanted you to believe!! And this acutally annoyes me because this gives me the proof that... or compliments, or nothing, if you give criticism you are an asshole!!! (it's an example) I remember when i tried to give advices... please hold me back otherwise i'll start to rant ... (enough with this)4- you may make passages larger that those, and maybe, remove some unnecessary sprites (if they are), sometimes, we try to make our best, but doing so, people may get stressed, seeing Mario always hitting ceiling with its head, some too much tight passages: in my opinion, FPI, in his SMW hacks, made the same mistake. It doesn't seem unfairly difficult, but a moderated playtrough is always enjoyable. 5- for the graphics, you could remove outlines to columns graphics and add them to wall's one and little passable bricks could use a darker palette. The BG sucks so much that i could put it on youtube and say "Worst background ever!" (i acutally can, becuase... i made that BG xD) Notice that i'm just giving some advices. And no drastic changes you need, agreeing ![]()

)1 - Yeah, you're right, but I won't use it, just at secret levels (like this). You don't have to finish this level by the way, you can continue playing without collecting coins, of course! So, it's just a little bonus feature I think. And a good reason to make another little Toad House level. ![]() 2 - You're totally right, and someone else mentioned it too, so I fixed that already. 3 - Hm, actually I wouldn't thought while making the level, that it would be a little problem for a few people. I might change them a bit, and yeah, they were supposed to be similar to the ground. I think you'd recognize them while playing the level, though. The only problem, that I have no ideas, how else could them be. I don't really want to use the original pipe graphics, these ground-pipes would be quite unique, in my opinion.Oh, and yeah, I understand how you feel. Yes, you were a quite big critic poster (not in the bad meaning), but yeah, not all of the people liked it. They were very useful though. 4 - You're basically right, but I don't recall it as a problem too much. Don't worry, not every levels are so "tiny-roomed" (or how to say..), this one supposed to be like that, because I wanted to add a 'ruined temple' feel. Not everything is well-ordered, mainly random blocks and walls on the whole level. 5 - Yeah, I'll fix the palette. Don't worry, that BG is so awesome, I use it on 3 levels of mine to be accurate. | What you could do is... a bricked pipe. I mean, just use a normal pipe, but made of bricks, so, it could fit with the style. and maybe add an arrow on the top/bottom of the pipe, to make the player know you can enter through. i think that would be the best way. I mean, something like this below: ![]() IMO, that would look better (when i must make graphics that take me about 5 minutes, i do it anyway, it is not a long time XP) I know i'm critic poster, and it's right i am in this way! In serious camps, no one will accept a poorly done beta testing or some bad looking sketch! the problem is that culture is missing (and culture i don't mean what you learn at school). I could make a better version of that BG, also, i'm surprised people still use it, but i'm acutally glad of it XD Well, the acutal reason i don't like Broozer is that he bitched me before i was banned, then, he posted a dumb comment in my channel (in my opinion, he was envious or such becuase it was after i posted a video: when i posted "idiotic" comments, he just ignored it, so i don't know why he did two weeks later i stopped laughing of who annoyed me). I acutally don't trust Broozer's kindness, since that. I am acutally annoyed because altough i made graphics for long, few people thought at me, the rest was busy to bash me with smwc's mosts. I am acutally ready to forget all crap, but as someone told me, someone doesn't want to. That's cutoff, i know, but it's going to be an original SMW with different level design (i'll make english version) and i don't mind to that problem which is present in the original SMW either. if i would make graphics, i would be picky about it. Nice to see that even after stuff happened on SMWCentral, you still kept hacking. Your style of drawing is unlike anything I've seen before. It's amazing. The graphics seriously look like they have been pulled from Earthworm Jim or Worms Armageddon or similar games. But you drew them all yourself, right?
