I'd say the chances of that being a (potentially explosive) decoy are pretty high.

it is the number of exclamation points X what ever the the comic score is on the laugh-o-meter + the number of raw epicness deposits in the comic and than you devide it into 2 groups and then multiply it again and thats the score

As for the comic, I emulated in my mind the sound of nothing, aka how you are unable to hear after a flashbang grenade goes off near your person. Though on 2nd thought, that can't actually happen from just a lightsource...
