what no no i'm not talking that it's difficult at all (i
love the true arena, everytime i play a kirby game i get extremely into the tiny nuance of the game mechanics and am in want of a challenge)
it's just that every single boss has so much dang waiting and it's perhaps the weakest point of that game in comparison to other kirby games, as a negative point onto why it's a bit harder to get into, the true arena was just an example of the extent of how much the general design flaws of the game get in the way for me rather
like every single midboss has to have a phase where it spins in the background and foreground and if you don't hit it right welp guess you're just standing there for a minute. pyrribit is the worst offender sinc eif you don't hit him in the very small windows he's in the actual arena you're just going to have to go through extremely lengthy attack patterns
but it's not, just that, that's just an effect of a more general if abstract "feel" to it. i don't know
i still enjoyed 100%ing it myself, and i adored it for a lot of other reasons, but it's a kinda rough around the edges game is what i'm saying so it's not as readily approachable as other ones
