| Yesterday I wrote up a little post over at destructoid stating which company should be involved in the next capcom crossover. It seems really really fnuckin obvious to me.
If they make a game this big, it should have no problem selling. Until then, we'll just have to settle with crappy mugenerated versions. I took a look at other suggestions in the capcom-unity. Sega, Nintendo-- I think people just want to see Sega vs. Nintendo done proper. But in this generation, it would be rather difficult. The 16 bit wars ended long ago. Wouldn't have the same impact. Namco-- Again? Marvel-- Again? Arc System Works-- although they have interesting fighting games, ASW doesn't match up against Capcom as evenly. Squeenix-- really? Look above. Some companies are more suited to having crossover games with characters only created by them. Shonen Jump-- not really fitting, I think anime characters have enough crossover battles between themselves anyway SNK-- it's been done twice before. KOF isn't as huge as it once was anyway. The big name SNK titles were more a thing of the 90s. As much as I hate to say it. So what's your take? |
