I finally got a pokemon that can surf (kept getting magikarps) and finally got a corsola.

At the moment my current team consists of these pokemon:

Quilava (f) lvl 36
Flaaffy (f) lvl 26
Nidorina (f) lvl 18
Onix (Rocky, in game trade) (m) lvl 15
Corsola (m) lvl 20

I've been concentrating more on my Quilava and I think my Quilava is in love with me since its making hearts to me when I talk to her sometimes, not to mention I took her onto my PokeWalker and she happily enjoyed her walk with me.

Gonna see if I can level up faster in the higher level areas later on today.

"Balvan" is a big rock, in other words, a boulder. So that works.

I had two Toxics miss in a row, despite 85 accuracy... also, I seem to have better luck with Hypnosis on SoulSilver than on Platinum. =D

Anyway, Whitney's Miltank went down fairly quickly, since I traded my Gastly to Diamond and taught it Toxic and Dark Pulse (wanted to use Shadow Ball, but I forgot that it doesn't hit Normals), then evolved it twice...

As for the PokéWalker, well... I got a Full Heal, Ice Heal, and a Revive from it, as well as a Nidoran♂, and my Flaaffy got another level. =)

Chuck went down easily after having Rose (Ampharos) Thunderpunch his Poliwrath to death. Then all I did was use Terra (Bayleef) and Magical Leaf to take down his Primeape since it kept using Double Team. Luckily it was paralyzed from earlier, when I had Panzer (Dragonair) use Thunder Wave.

I defeated Clair in Physics. Travis was watching and had a little more than zero faith in my victory -- I did too.

It was pretty much a battle between her, Shepherd/Ampharos, and Yoshi/Feraligatr. . I switched in Solidsnake/Steelix every so often when things got real tight, but it was pretty much spamming Super/Hyper Potions and a few revives here and there.

My party was also level 32-34, so I think I might have to train a bit.

Bleh. Training near Ecruteak sucks. Fuck Magnemite with its Supersonic, paralysis and Sonic Boom. Fuck Vulpix with its Roar that just should not work anyway, come on guys it's a tiny fox you can beat in two hits. Fuck Stantler with its Hypnosis and Pound that seems to have over 9000 power even though it says only 65. Bah.

The music in all those areas is great though.

They really nailed the sound in this game, just like in the originals. And I'm just about done levelling there before I can take on a gym or two and proceed further. I'm starting to worry this game will be over too soon. D:

Fortunately I found a Meowth, so I can raise it up to get Payday if funding becomes an issue (although I've been making a lot off trainers and a Nugget recently). If only real money were that easy to come across.

I totally dominated Jasmine with my Ampharos with Focus Blast. She didn't stand a chance. Same thing with Pryce as well.

I am in the Ice Path now, and caught a Swinub to train and evolve to take down Claire. Gave him a name hopefully most of us will know for now, since I was lacking creativity when I caught it.

Level 27 Togetic/Dio (Gawd, I really wish I could get a Shiny Stone so I could evolve it and teach it Aura Sphere)

Level 21 Swinub/Rundas (Yeah, I went with a Bounty Hunter with an awesome theme's name)

I'm pretty much just gonna train till I get them all to level 40 before Claire, especially if I can get Swinub to evolve and evolve into Mamoswine. Earthquake is the shiz.
