Yeah the recovery moves can be an absolute bitch. Hypnosis helps though. Between Hypnosis, Uproar, Roost, and Insomnia my Noctowl is the master of sleep.
The music is pretty good too. Quite nice all around.
It seems like the AI might even be better in some cases than others. The wild Pokémon pretty much attack at random, but the trainers tend to show a bit of strategy, gym leaders especially seem to know what they're doing, and the rival is quite adept at being a cheap bastard and drawing it out as long as possible until he runs out of PP for Synthesis.

Hint: All rows where the total count of points and Voltorbs = 5 you mark as a dead row. You will not win anything by selecting that row anyway. If there are no Voltorbs in any row/column you can flip them all over and easily figure out other rows.
I got that, but sometimes that doesn't tell you enough to go on without a guess or two.
I feel like I could write a program to solve it, but the amount of work that could end up being...
