Enemys are easy to edit. In the obj folder you only need to open a enemy file and import textures. Then you can edit^^
Marios and Luigis colors arent editable YET! I am looking around the Datas and my results were longer arms and crashes I dont now where the colors and pallettes stored in HEX, too.

Nsbmd is for the 3D enemies, normal enemies are in the obj folder i think^^
use ncg; nsbmd and nsbtx

Doubble-Click on the ncg file and doubble-click on all ncl files and press always "import all"
Then in the editor, choose the right pallette for the enemie.

Import now the "blablabla.ncl" files. If you make a doubbel click on one file, a window opens, then push the "add all" button ;D

same, got only ncg.bin file lmao...
i use the 5.1 with r145,perhaps can't do it..
because i will explain to u: i want if it's possible to change the goomba from brown to pink etc....

I'm trying to hack NSMB, obviously, and I seem to have run into an issue. I'm trying to have a pipe get to Area 3 in World 1-1, but it always freezes on a black screen. I have tried everything I can to get the transfer to work. Here's the level files, if you want to take a look so you can see what I did wrong. I would like this to work.

Also, yes, this level is the first level from Mario Land 2.

Can somebody tell me how to make lava go up/down or how to make more areas or how to do level wrap?

I wanna make a really fun game!!!

And somebody remind me of how to use a custom nsmb logo because i got mixed up with the forums.

I am such a noob at this!!!

I am soon gonna make this game!

if you open the editor dont open an level bot choose the tab that says 'tools', there is the textur editor

LEVEL WRAP:
1) Edit a level.
2) Click on the button that says "Level Configuration".
3) Turn the "Level-Wrap" on.
4) Close the "Level Configuration".
5) Make sure, the length of your area is divisible through 16.

NSMB LOGO:
1) Download DSBuff here: http://filetrip.net/f3100-dsbuff--v1-Final.html
2) Take/Draw a Logo which size is 32x32.
3) Open DSBuff.
4) Click on the button "Browse".
5) Open you ROM.
6) You can edti icon, header,...now.

LAVA GOES UP:
00 00 0S 00 00 00 - Set "S" to the Speed the lava will rise.
I dont know, if this is correct or not

MORE AREAS:
You can not add areas to the game, but views to an area:
1) Open a Level (area).
2) Click the "Views" Button.
3) Click on a view you want to edit.
4) There you can edit the length, heigth, music, ID and many other things.
5) Click on the "Add" button to add a view.


I hope now you know all these stuff

I can tell you how to edit it, but you have to edit it yoursef, because I have my own stuff to do.

1) Open your ROM in NSMB-Editor.
2) Go to the "File Browser"-Tab.
3) Go to the folder "Filesystem/root/obj/".
4) Open the file "I_kuribo256_ncg.bin".
5) Open the file "I_enemy_B_ncl.bin".
6) Click "Add all".
7) A new task named "x" has opened. Go to "x".
8) Go to the label1-box and click on "I_enemy_B_ncl.bin 0:0:512".
9) Go to the label2-box and click on "NSMBe4.Image2D".
10) Reduce label3 to "4".
11) Draw whatever you want

In wich version of editor i should do it (in NSMBe5.1 ?). And I want to know if i have to have other programs to edit enemy. So like you said it's possible to change goomba texture with met from mega man right ?
