Long ago, we actually did use MultiUpload, but UploadWizard replaced it. Last I heard, MultiUpload was broken too.

MultiUpload isn't supported any more (and hasn't been), UploadWizard "worked" but people didn't like it because it added some junk templates to uploaded files and wasn't configurable.

You're right, MultiUpload is listed as "broken" on here:

So the only way is to manually upload and tag 554 images?

If you have that many images then you should probably just toss them in a ZIP, give me the needed description (e.g. category), and have me upload them in one big bulk run.

Am I right to assume that the "prerelease-image" image tag overides the old "conceptart" and "scan"? They are all listed on https://tcrf.net/Help:Contents/Images#Tagging Images.

Slowly but surely being added. There's quite a lot in here thanks to Sonic Team half-assing quite a bit. Then again, this also goes for Sonic '06, which really does need a Prerelease article.

Some important context is needed here. Conceptart and Scan are both still being used, more so Conceptart (and Scan is for manual images too). Prerelease-image can overlap with Scan, but it doesn't overlap with conceptart.

Wii U games on the wiki so far have used the TV screen for title screenshots, but in this (tv, gamepad) case should the GamePad screen be used? Or even both the top and bottom screen like DS/3DS? Maybe resized to be the same size?

The two links are the same image. I'd argue it would be for whatever is optimal for the game.
