If a bug is fixed/changed in a different version of a game, should the bug be limited to a "Regional/Revision differences" section, go on exclusively on Bug subpage, go on both or something else?

Does TCRF cover mistakes that aren't strictly programming errors? If so, would that go on the main page or the Bugs page?

Yes, and those go on the bugs page.

Does TCRF cover regional/revisional differences in digital manuals? I know it doesn't cover box art, so I wasn't sure.

Eh...no. The digital manuals aren't part of the actual game and treated akin to physical manuals.

Even when they're embedded in the game files, like the Wii VC ones?

Sorry I wasn't clear, that is what I was referring to. Ones that are part of the game, not external ones.
edit: it seems that the Super Mario Maker page has a regional difference in regards to the text when first entering the digital manual

Even then, not terribly interesting as most of what a manual covers is related to the game itself. Useful for things like the prerelease page, but from what I saw on your SMM manual page, it seems to be largely relating to the color of the tablet's touchpen. Best to see if more games have similar differences first. If so, off to the common things page it goes.
Here's XK's two cents:
I feel like that would fit on a "media" type page; originally what Prerelease was supposed to be? I would technically be okay with it being on the game page, though, since it is directly related to the game ... but I'm very much an inclusionist

There was a guideline somewhere (or maybe just a trend) of using initial versions of games for title screens. Should this be stuck to? There seem to be quite a few PC games that clearly use later versions.

My opinion is, if possible, the initial version of a title screen should be used. That said, you’re lucky if people actually post a title screen, let alone the initial one.
Meh, it’s an admin/community call. |

| What's the policy on item transparency? I have about 280 early versions of items ripped and they have a hot pink background that's transparent in-game. Should I leave it as is or try to edit back the transparency? |

I don't think we have any real policy, so it's up to you. However, if you leave the background color as-is, someone is probably going to come along later and remove it anyway (and potentially mess it up in the process).

| Is there an easy way to upload hundreds of images? I'd like to use the Upload Wizard but that seems to create work for admins. |

A fix for Upload Wizard was in progress, but finding the individual templates to delete from the generation code is somewhat tedious and an attempted fix was for another version of MediaWiki and it broke UW completely. We use MediaWiki 1.25, so it's best to find the version of UW meant for that.
