| Thanks GoldS. I was unsure if it was alright to modify the previous author's submission, which is why I did not merge it together like it is currently (Good Job on that btw). In the future I will try to make the changes more discrete. Thanks again. |

| Aye! Glad it did too.
Also, if no one else has objections, I'm gonna start trying to put the Regional Differences pieces toward the end of the articles where they're at the first part of the article. It's not really to make nitpicky format things, but more for consistency and the reason of "it's not necessarily unused" and feels more like a secondary piece of the wiki to me. I've nailed two, I'm just not sure where others are yet. -------------------- |

| Mmm, I personally feel like it should be its own separate category, as it's comparing two or more different versions of a released game in the same area, which doesn't really warrant it being in the same category as regional differences. I mean, they're similar in what they cover, but it's like covering apples and oranges while randomly popping up with the differences between Red Delicious and Granny Smith apples in the middle of the conversation. It'd just be better off in its own thing. -------------------- |

Originally posted by Rick Not apples and oranges at all. Regional differences are a specific case of version differences. They're versions where the difference is localization and release location. Thinking about it, I can see your point, though, and why we'd to separate them. |

| Yeah, I think you see what I'm getting at.
It's mostly like, if you're talking about the U.S., European, and Japanese versions of a game, and then go on a sub-tangent about two different U.S. versions, it kind of gets lost in the middle of things and just works better in its own section. It's just kind of like the "one idea per paragraph" deal that I teach in my English classes (when I'm teaching them anyway). -------------------- |

| There is a massive amount of content in the Xbox 360 version of Tales of Vesperia that is unused but almost all of which was later used in the Japanese exclusive PS3 version. The Tales series wiki wants nothing to do with such information but can it find a home here? I pretty sure that it was stated that even the smallest amount of info on such things was wanted, but I thought I'd ask first anyway. |

| Alright then! I will begin to compile all the info I can. I am currently working on a project to decipher as much of the save file for the game as I can. This has led me to find so many unused things that information on will not fall into said project. I may also add info on the SSBM debug menu, what seems to be a test/debug room in Pokemon Pearl, and a few other things. Just don't think much of it if I randomly seem to drop off the face of the Earth for a few months. I tend to do that from time to time.
Additionally: Thanks for welcoming me. |

| After reading this I hope nobody minds my massive throw together for the Asura Blade page...I've still got Cerberus' unused sprites to add in there. :X Though I do have one question: what about blatant arcade flyer differences? In particular for this game, its flyer shows a screenshot with a obviously different design for Rose Mary than the finished game (namely sporting a yellow coat), though no tiles of it seem to have made it in. |

Here's the shot from the flyer in question. Rose Mary sports a full on jacket, and Yashou was originally going to be called "Dokrou". Doing some more digging in the rom I found what appears to either be names for a localization or beta names...going with the order shown, it seems to imply the following alternate names were once considered: Alice -> Aries Zam-B -> Crow (this one makes the most sense) Taros -> Bolt While Curfue's name is listed here, S-Geist and "Doppleganger" are not. EDIT: And shortly after THAT we get an alternate sub title! "Sword of Doom" |

A lot of them are just mockups designed solely *for* magazines. ![]() -------------------- |
