Thanks again! I finally finished W1 Tower so im going to update the bug list then start working on the bugs. After that ill finish 1-4 so i can get the next demo out!

Ok i wanted to lay down some basic rules about reporting bugs. If one person reports a bug and it looks like it should be fixed then i will fix it. If one bug doesn't look so significant then if two people report it then i will fix it. The ice thing i think is a pretty big deal so i will add that to the list. But the Vine overload doesn't seem to significant to me so if another person vouches for that to be a bug then i will do my best to fix it.


EDIT: i will also delete all fixed bugs in the bugs section after each demo.

- The multiplayer narc patch is for putting the MvsL levels in the narcs automatically, so they work. It'll be available in next version (i have already implemented it...)

- To change music, select the view and change it on the left panel. I dont know whether it will work on boss fights...

- The mega goomba, hmm??? That's a boss, and they dont work properly on normal levels. I recommend you export the level that contains it and import it in your level (you'll need another area). Even with that, i dont guarantee your rom wont crash...

Thanks dirbaio and jceggbert5. I was going to implement the unused multiplayer levels and make some of my own making a completely new set of Multiplayer levels. Also i was going to try out a Co-Op Beta that i was going to include in this game. It might be included in one of the Demo's or Beta's but it will only be a few levels and might be a little buggy. Then i have two questions. Can you add Multiplayer levels or can you just edit the ones already in use? (or will it be a feature in the next updated editor) and how do you create new areas?

Ok I posted up the video for 1W Tower and i am starting 1-4 now. 1-4 will be using one of the Multiplayer Unused levels which i will have to make the other half of it to make finishable. Anyways if anyone could answer my questions in my last post that would be great. And don't forget the next demo is coming soon!



EDIT: When Reggie! comes out i was wondering if you guys wanted me to continue this hack for the ds or start making it for the wii? (Or both)

when reggie! gets released i am going to basically port my hack over to it but edit some things just for wii. but i would still work on both.

i advise you do the same.

Thanks for the input Dark fusion i was thinking of doing the same to. I suppose i will because im pretty stoked about Reggie! and am hoping it will come out soon!


EDIT: Im so glad that theres a wii emulator that you test the hacks out on.

EDIT: I might just make the wii one a sequel or something. Like Advance Super Mario Bros. Wii. i guess it might work if im not tired from editing by the time i finish the ds version. (though i would probably work on them simultaneously)

it is spriteset 16-1 for sprite 91.

and the only multiplayer levels you can edit are the existing 5.

When Reggie! comes out, I will do again a remake for smb1 & ll and my custom one.

Also, I like the tower! Swimming all the way up avoiding amps and cheeps looks challenging! And, just a tip, in the part where the bullet bill launchers are, you should put them like at the sides and not having water on them. It looks odd when their "bodies" are undewater and their "heads" not.

Ok sounds good thanks dark fusion and gridattack (and your right the bullet bills to look a little odd). I definitely needed that sprite set for the new multiplayer maps.

yeah. Changing Mario's 3d model, changing it to 2d, or making new powerups has to be done by ASM hacking (modifying the game's code), but it requires at first knowing how it works... I sometimes try to figure out suff but i dont get very far. What I have done in ASM is just "lock" roms so they are no longer editable, and replace the nintendo logo at the beginning with a completely custom image (on only one screen though, i think i have to improve it...)

dont count on it. at least for now...
