Bug Reporting Rules: Ok i wanted to lay down some basic rules about reporting bugs. If one person reports a bug and it looks like it should be fixed then i will fix it. If one bug doesn't look so significant then if two people report it then i will fix it.

This is a compilation of levels (made by me) that im going to put into the game. Every level will be beatable. Some will levels will be harder than the other. The first demo (0.1) will be nothing like the actual game its just going to be a level (that will be in the game) that you get for paying star coins. Its pretty much just a level you get a lot of coins in.

NOTICES:
2/23/10: Finished wiimote support for desumemu

1/31/10: I have made a download section for beta's.

1/27/10: I think im going to make a sequel too this game on the wii once Reggie! comes out.

1/27/10: I want to start getting beta testers to test out things in the game that im going to need some feedback on. (ex: Co-Op, Levels, Ect.)

Story Mode:

0-0: You gain the power to reincarnate through green mushroom's. However the amount of these mushroom's you have is the amount of times you can reincarnate. The downside to this though is that you can shrink when you touch an enemy, but you can return to normal size by eating a red mushroom. The other good thing about this though is you can shoot fireball's out of your hand be eating a flower and you can also turn into a turtle by putting on a blue shell. You are amazed by the new powers you gain.

1-1: The Princess has been captured and you have to chase her through a MK (Mushroom Kingdom) Testing field.
The MK Testing field's are various area's that the MK are verified to test experiment's. For example floating block's and the Vine in a box. It looks like bowser has taken various experiment's and left behind some goon's. Once you go through the MK Testing field you report to the king. The king send's out a crew of toad's to find what has been stolen, but there has been no report's yet.

1-2: You find a hole where a bridge is supposed to be. Crumbled rocks fell into what looked like an endless pit. Suddenly the Earth began to rumble making the rocks beneath you fall into the hole. All the rock's got stuck while you fell right through them. Though instead of landing on hard rock you land in shallow water. You wade through the cave and find crumbled, distorted, and misshapen rock's. There where hole's in the wall and you could see the MK Mountains in the backround. You see Bowser's minion's and guess bowser went through here. You finally get out of the water and eventually find an exit to the cave. When you come out of the cave you see a lush green jungle tattered by the footstep's of a monster.

1-3: The moment you enter this jungle you notice a box. You find a note saying it was left by the princess. You bump your head on the block and a star comes out. You eat the star and turn into the colors of a rainbow. Power surging through you, you run killing all the enemy's you touch. After killing about ten enemy's you start to get more reincarnation's. Eventually the power surge drain's from your body and your back to your normal self. Now that you'r not hyperactive you notice the strange way giant mushrooms are growing here. You step on them and they fell soft, but still as solid as ground. As you come out of the forest you approach a tower that was overflown with water.

1-Tower: You enter the tower and find there's water above your head, but your in a tightly sealed air bubble. You jump up into the water and start climbing up the tower. Fish are swimming around and Bowser's Bullet Bill launcher's are trying to kill you. You weave through electical ball thing's and see Bowser's crew drift through the water coming down slowly trying to attack you. Once you get to the surface of the water you see a door guarded by two goombas that almost immediatly jummp off the edge into the water in an attempt to kill you. You enter the door and land on some block's. You find Bowser's son Koopa jr below the block's. You knock Koopa Jr. on conscious. then Koopa Jr. wakes up and jumps out of the tower. You exit the tower and find a forest caught in a winter climate.

I see a problem, under the ground there is just blank space and it looks weird, could you fix that?
also, the vines look strange just floating in the air. other than that nice level!

The Level is boring and messy , try adding more stuff and tidy it up and making it uniqe , you can see the original level 1-1 in it!

On any youtube video, down at the vid information, there is something that is called embed. Copy that and then paste it in your post.

Looks cool!

A very important hint: when you do a remake you should delete everything in the level and make it from scratch. That way it wont look similar to the original level, like this one does... Like Hiccup said, you can see the original level in it. That's bad. This is the way to fix it. Absolutely necesasary if you want to make good hacks and remakes. Be Creative!

Great work so far! Waiting for more...

thanks dirbaio. I will have to clear everything.on my next level. Which will be the castle so that will definitely be fun. Once again thanks for the suggestion you will be seing it in W1 castle and above.

Reasoning for having 1-1 through 1-3 not wiped complete: I didnt wipe the levels for 1-1 through 1-3 because people usually like a game when they see somewhat of a familiarity in the game if they notice it or not. then after the beginning of the game you start making your own levels from a canvas and get even more creative. At least that's what i think. Will see if its true i guess. (Youre statement is true though thats just my reasoning for doing so)

the ice in 1-2 is oddly placed... and there are way too many koopas in that bonus area.
1-1 looks a bit better, and 1-3 is ok but there is a major overload on vines.

For your first time, the levels are good. I like 1-2 Same as Dark_fusion, the ice looks oddly placed. Try to include a new gimmick every so levels , such as the use of ? switches, etc.

1. Using a red switch will not make solid blocks dissapear(however, you can with sprite 107 and 197). You can only create red ones with object 17,(never tried with object 94). To make them appear, just put a normal ! switch at hit it.

2. To make a warp pipe, go to entrances. Here, you create one and define the number ID(entrance number) and the destination area(leave 0 to warp to the same room) and destination entrance(the entrance with the ID you put here). Be sure to put the entrance at the upper left, leaving no green lines of the pipes, bottom left for upside down pipes, upper left for right facing pipes and upper right of left facing pipes.

Thanks. But how would you specify what blocks would disappear when pressing that button? Also how do i change the music for when your battling bowser jr.




P.S. especially thanks for the warp pipes that helped me out a lot.


EDIT: ok i finished W1 Tower so im going to update the Bug List and start working on the bugs.
