Well no, because we've already outlined the basics of making a level not crash, so if it crashes, then it's easily solvable by looking at what's wrong with it, which is most likely beta sprites or other badly made levels. It seems like a place for people to make someone else do their work for them.
Originally posted by My IdeaIf your level is crashing, check these solutions first before making a topic out of it:
Make sure that there is no "Sprite 0: Beta Level Sprite" in your level, anywhere...
Disable all of the sprite sets that are not used in your level...
Check and make sure that the level's view size is less than (forgot size) ...
Etc...
I was hoping for something like this to stop threads like PkmnRuby's thread... (I am not picking on you, just using you as an example)
Well, that's all you need. PkmnRuby is the only person so far to have had any trouble with levels crashing, and that topic would kinda make the forum redundant if it were stretched to more global issues. If someone is really having trouble and has checked for the obvious, then there is no reason why they shouldn't make a topic to learn from.

^exactly. It's really frowned upon to ask general help questions in this forum, and I think it gives off a bad vibe. The whole "Go fucking look it up" theme really deterred me from hacking a couple of times. It's not that I'm lazy or anything, it's just nice to have some user feedback, rather than sifting through a guide for a tiny answer. I definitely think this sticky could work. All of the posted questions would be put in the origin post, and then when someone answers it, the answer would be put underneath in said post.
