1. The Karate Kid is supposed to be a bad ass Ginni from NY.

2. Miyagi is supposed to be from Japan. There's a kick ass back story to that too which I will not give away. (You'll have to see the real movie for that.) Him being from China just fucks it up BIG TIME.

3. Black kid moves from racist America to xenophobic China. Just watch. I think I just nailed the main plot theme.

4. Fighting over Chinese loli... lol...

5. I stopped watching the trailer when I saw the 'initial Miyagi fight' preview. The idea was to explain Karate to America properly with the original movie. It is surprisingly spot on to be honest. Using 'slow-mo' and 'matrix dodging' just ruins the realism that was the original.

Same reaction as supa except I audibly said, "Fuck this."

If the existence of this "movie" and the existence of this thread had anything to do with each other, I would club myself to prevent it from being made.

But alas.

I think I'm gonna go watch the (real) movies at some point in other to help the wounds. ~~I heard 4 sucked, but I don't remember it being THAT bad... Then again, all I remember is the chick jumping onto the car. And I was young. So it very well may suck.~~
