I remember, out in the Southwest, driving by an area which was so desperate it had over 15 signs begging people to turn around and come back on the road out, and it had signs for hundreds of miles before it advertising its existence.
There's an Xmas store in Michigan called Bronner's, and it's the word's largest Anyway, I remember there being a sign for it all the way out at the Pennsylvania-Ohio border
Supposedly, there's a store called "Wall Drug" in South Dakota that has a sign as far away as the South Pole
