can somebody help me
how can i create 2 pipes-one for warping(i know how that works)but i will change it so that he will come out from the other pipe
can somebody tell me how to do that?

okay,sry for me its hard to speek english because i am german.
okay so...if you create a warping pipe you go on objects create a pipe and then on entrances on add entrance
and i wanna make it so that when he warps he comes out from another pipe or door i will create.how does it works???

you create 2 pipes in whatever place you want. Then go to entrance and a a new entrance or edit one already existing. Then you grab the entrance and place it in the top/left corner exactly that it covers that part of the pipe. Then you create or modify other one or create a new one. Define the entrance number; if you want to be an exit only then press the exit only option. Then go to the first entrance you edit or make and define the number of the entrance. In the destination area you select the area of the level. Then select destination entrance at type the number of the entrance you want to go.
For door is basically the same thing except you change the type and put the entrance in the bottom/left part of the door. You must place it exactly tha no door part is seen.

ok dude thank you for this but i do not understand it
i have created 2 pipes one at the beginning at w 1 level 2 area 1 and the other pipe at area 2(at the end flag pole).
so i got one entrance at the top of the first pipe-destination area 2 and the other entrance at the pipe in area 2 has the exit button activated.and now?

Yeah. Like dirbaio said. Look at the levels. Study them. Thats how I came to know about pipes, door, etc

okay i loked at the pipes but i dont get it x(
cant anybody tell me what i have to to with the FXXXX numbers that he cames out from that entrance point that I WONT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1: create the entrances you want. Each entrance must have a UNIQUE Entrance Number in the area.

2: Place the entrances where you want. It is usually at the top-left of the pipe and the bottom-left of the door. Look at the original levels for examples

3: Set the type of the entrance. For pipes it must be "Pipe facing ...."

4: Set the destination for the entrance. For example: If you have two entrances A and B and when you enter A you go to B, in the "Destination Entrance" of A you have to put in the "Entrance Number" of B.

5: Set the destination area for the entrances. If both entrances are in the same area, leave the "Destination Area" at 0. If not, put the number of the area of the destination entrance.

Note that you can make entrances take you from an area to another OF THE SAME LEVEL.

Since you're on the subject of entrances, is there anything special you have to do in order to get the 'pipe facing left/right' entrances to work? I've gotten all of the other ones just fine, I just can't get these two to work at all. I've even made a replica of one of the entrances already in the game, and the one I add to the game just doesn't work. Any help? If so, thanks in advance!

By the way, if this is something that's already been discussed in great detail in an earlier topic, and I didn't see it the first time around, just let me know and I'll go back and read through it again.

hmm
as far as i know, left/right pipes work exactly the same as up/down pipes. You have to place the entrance on the top of the pipe at its end. I have been able to make side pipes without any problem.
Theres one thing that may be your problem: You must be on ground to enter a pipe. If you make a pipe in the middle of the air Mario will just slide in it, but if you make a horizontal pipe laying in the ground so you can enter the pipe with just the arrow keys, not the jump, then it works. This is true even in water levels. (I think Mini pipes is an exception for this)

Alright, I'll try that out. I have to say, after I posted in this topic the first time, I went back to try adding those same pipe entrances again, and it worked, no problem. It just never worked in World 1-2 area 1, and World 1-1 area 3 before. Thanks again!
