In the download for the importer there's a free plugin for exporting to .OBJ.

Inserting it into a ROM:
1. Apply the patch.
2. Open a Command Prompt (XP: Start>Run>cmd)
3. cd Your way to the folder where your ROM, OBJ file and Obj_import.exe are.
Example: cd C:\M64\OBJ_IMPORT\
4. Type in obj_import (OBJ File) (ROM) (Scaling(ex. 100))
For example: obj_import testmountain.obj sm64.z64 100
5. DONE, test it.
(I "Think" you need to set Project64 to use the Expansion Pack for it to work (Doing so does'nt hurt anyway :p))

Wait you have something backwards, you type the .obj files name first. Unless you can do it either way.

Yes, you can import a Google Sketchup Model...

You shouldn't run obj_import directly, You should go to Start Menu, then open Run...

on Run you type CMD

Then CD your way to the folder where remains the rom and the obj file you want to import

Then type:
obj_import "yourobjfilename.obj" "yoursm64rom.z64" (size)

This is it

Don't demand people to make videos for you like that again, or I'll demand you be banned in the same fashion.

I'd love to try it out for myself and give you an example but the download link isn't working it goes to a page that says "Página não encontrada
Não foi possível localizar a página solicitada."
I think it's a dead page.

Is there a limit to the number of textures we can use? I imported a model with all 32x32 textures but one turned into a different texture.

New, vastly improved version, including a graphical interface this time!

For those who used older versions, you'll have to patch your ROM again (read obj_import.exe or watch the video tutorial included if you have doubts):

What's new:

- Graphical interface! (Requires .NET Framework 3.5)
- Replace all levels instead of only Bob-omb Battlefield.
- Select background and environment effect, including beta flower.
- Comprehensive error trapping.
- Fixed problems with texture paths as well as parsing problems when the file had spaces.
- Better texture handling.
- Model files are now centered around (0,0,0).
- Video Tutorial.
- The imported level can be edited in Toad's Tool 64.

but its not importing my custom textures, and when i try double clicking on ctv.exe to see if it opens, it says i have to reinstall the application because its not installed properly.

Cvt.exe will crash if run it without any argument, it's a minor bug of Imagemagick's converter but it won't affect the importer.

Give more detailed information about the texture problem (and if possible post the .obj and .mtl file so I can give it a look). Does the importer give you an error message? Also, what operating system are you using?
